Survivor - Extra Rounds 2012-09-14


Normally it's not as early as week 3 that you're thinking about starting up another round of Survivor, but this year it looks like many pools are doing just that. With all the upsets in week 1 and 2, most Survivor pools find themselves down to their last 10% of the players.

Step 1

Go to your event list, and add a new event. This will allow you to have two separate Survivor pools going on at once. Make sure you select NFLS for the game type in the top left cornder. This is the abbreviation we use to tell the event what game platform to use.

Step 2

Now go to your configuration area for your Survivor Pool, and click on options. It's likely that your first survivor pool will pop up first
, so make sure you change it to your second survivor pool.


Step 3

Make sure you set ALL the options that will apply. It's ok that the custom options at the bottom are left blank, but the top 6 options have to have a setting of some type applied to them. Make sure that your start week is week 3, or week 7 or whatever your secondary week will be that you start in.

Test - test - test! Then when you are happy it is setup the way you want, let your players know it's available for play.


Playing

When you have more than one event happening, you will notice the abilty to choose which pool you're going into when you click play, or reports.
In this example, you can note that we made our button logos different to draw a little more attention to the difference between the two pools.

NFL Confidence Pools 2011-08-28
A confidence pool takes your standard pickem, and pushes it to a new level. With confidence style picking, you are given values from 1 to X. X is the number of games in a week. If your pick is correct, you are awarded that many points. It can make for some high point weeks if you can accumulate some wins. This image shows how the picksheet works. First you select your pick, and then click on the confidence box, and select the value you wish to place on that game. If you`re really confident, you place a high value like 16 on that game. more...
Managing Your Pool 2011-08-27
Probably one of the most important functions of your pool is the ability for you to manage it. When you setup a pool with superbrawl, your player id is setup as the manager of the pool in addition to being a player. This gives you the ability to launch your manager console, while you are playing, viewing a trashtalk board, doing your survivor picks, or just showing up to view your pool. To launch the manager console of your pool, login using your player id and password, and you will see this tools icon in the login bar.
